Benlorida Paradise

We like to believe that the best things are those that are not planned. And this was exactly one of those things. One day, I woke up and told Benji and Marci, “let’s go some place warm where Ben can soar like an eagle and we can crash and relax.” So, we enjoyed our Christmas Eve at home, packed our stuff the next morning, and left for a place called Redington Beach, Florida. we left at 3 in the morning and arrived to the destination at 10 in the evening. What followed was a few days, loaded with sunshine, sand, ocean waves, pelicans, gulls, HGTV, and chasing ladies on the beach.

Czech Christmas or Beer Fest?

The year 2011 was actually pretty Czentastic! One day, Marci took Benji to the local library where Benji seduced a gal who actually happened to be Czech too. And before we knew it, we were introduced to three Czech gals, all of them living in Fort Thomas. As a result, we had a little Czech Christmas party that some dudes mixed up with Beer Fest. Great friends, great food, fantastic sweet treats, and phenomenal beer. Simply, great pre-Christmas party.

Redly Thanksgiving

While most folks settled by their tables with their families to indulge on Thanksgiving feasts, we have settled for a different feast: a few days in the Red River Gorge. As you can see, the guys really enjoyed it. And the big guy, believe it or not, even climbed. So, no complains, the Raskas had a great Thanksgiving, though without turkey. Next time we hit this place, we hope to come with Ben’s uncle and his gang!

Post Halloween Photo Parade

The bad thing about Halloween is that it is usually already too scary dark to shoot some decent pictures. So, Benji and I reunited for Halloween photo shoot while Marci was enjoying her favorite part of the week - 75 minutes with Dr. Statistics. Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy the shots.
